The past informs. The present reflects.
Reel Brit's first foray into film was through documentary shorts dealing with social issues, to capture the lived experiences of contributors. Yep talking heads, which for many underrepresented communities remains vital and life affirming. Our feature documentary Under Your Nose about LGBTQ+ history, made a huge social impact and led to community engagement programs in museums, galleries and universities across the UK and Europe.. Narrative feature Nine Nights won a Pan African Film Festival Award in 2019. We're currently bringing our unique vision and experience to a range of screen, live events and heritage projects with partners in the UK, Nigeria and Europe.
